THE Scalp Cooling Summit
Discussion & collaboration on precision side effect management within cancer care
The Scalp Cooling Summit is a forum for innovative global leaders in oncology and research to share their knowledge and understanding of precision side effect management.
The Scalp Cooling Summit was developed to inspire and empower physicians to innovate their approaches to patient-centered care and symptom management, to challenge their own or their peer’s preconceptions, and to put what they have learned into practice. The hope is that in the not too distant future anyone who wants to scalp cool can – regardless of ethnicity, financial situation, gender, or chemotherapy treatment regimen.
On May 5th 2022, an international event was hosted with a series of keynote talks and roundtables in which oncology thought leaders came together in peer-to-peer discussions. These conversations covered a breadth of chemotherapy side effect management topics, to create a platform where clinicians can learn, incite conversations, and challenge themselves to advance the future of supportive cancer care and scalp cooling.
